Your first day with power tools, in a class of no more than four.
Service Description
A relaxed, hands-on day for complete beginners. You learn to use the main workshop power tools safely and with confidence, and take home a pine box and a hardwood cutting board you made yourself. Class details Time: 09:00 to 16:00 Level: complete beginner, no experience needed Class size: no more than 4 students Venue: BB Craft School, Lourensford Wine Estate, Somerset West What you learn Power tool safety: mitre saw, table saw, plunge saw, router and sanders. Joinery basics: clamps, biscuit joiner, pocket hole jig and screws. Measuring, marking, sanding and assembly. Next step This day is the first part of Furniture Making 101.
