From complete beginner to furniture maker in 4 days.
Service Description
Our full package for beginners. Day 1 is the Beginner Woodworking & Power Tools class. Days 2 to 4 are Furniture Making 101, where you build a solid wood side table with a drawer from raw pine. Class details Time: 09:00 to 16:00 each day Level: complete beginner, no experience needed Class size: no more than 4 students Venue: BB Craft School, Lourensford Wine Estate, Somerset West What you learn Day 1: power tool safety and the basics, while you make a pine box and a hardwood cutting board. Days 2 to 4: laminate a solid wood tabletop, build the leg and apron frame with pocket holes and biscuits, and build and fit a drawer on ball-bearing runners.
