This 1-day hands-on workshop is specifically designed for absolute beginners who want to overcome the fear of power tools in a safe, relaxed, and fun environment.
At BB Craft School, we believe the best way to learn is by doing. In this "Introduction to Woodworking" class, you will get comfortable with essential tools while building a practical project: a simple pine wooden box.
While the project is simple, it is the perfect vessel to teach you the fundamentals of measuring, cutting, drilling, sanding, routing and modern joinery.
What You Will Learn:
Power Tool Safety: Master the Mitre saw, table saw, plunge saw, router and various sanders with confidence.
Joinery Basics: Learn how to use, clamps, a biscuit joiner, pocket hole joinery jigs, and screws correctly.
Project Assembly: From accurate measuring and marking to sanding and assembly.

Ready to build your own kitchen or built-in-cupboards?
This 3-day practical workshop takes you from beginner or DIY enthusiast to confident assembler and installer. We strip away the mystery of professional cabinetry so you can learn to build basic kitchens and built-ins yourself.
You will build a complete cupboard-style side table unit from start to finish, including a carcass, cover panels, door, drawer (with ball-bearing runners), adjustable legs, kick-plates, and a worktop using industry-standard materials.
Although you will be building a small cupboard-style side table, this gives you the foundation for any kitchen or cupboard unit build. We also show you real-world demonstrations of kitchen and built-in cupboard installations so you know how to take these projects on practically.
Using 16mm melamine boards and HPL (Formica) worktops, you will learn how to:
Construct Carcasses: Assemble sturdy cupboard frames using screws and ensure they are perfectly square and level.
Install Hardware: Fit concealed hinges for a perfect door alignment and fit ball-bearing drawer runners for smooth operation.
Finish Like a Pro: Cut and edge HPL (Formica) worktops, drill adjustable shelf pins, level and secure your cupboards (the easy way), and install kick-plates.

This 3-day immersive woodworking course takes you from beginner to maker. We strip away the intimidation of furniture making. You will build your own solid wood side table with a drawer from raw pine planks using modern techniques and power tools.
Using solid pine, you will learn how to:
Construct Table Tops: Master edge-to-edge lamination to create seamless solid wood panels
Build Sturdy Frames: Join legs and aprons using easy-to-repeat methods like pocket holes and biscuit joints

Featuring step-by-step instructional videos, this program allows students aged 9–15+ to build and learn from home. This course transitions students from the screen to practical, hands-on work through an engaging engineering project.
At BB Craft School, we believe in "learning by doing." This isn't just a craft project; it is a curriculum-aligned engineering task. Students will start with raw South African Pine and finish with a working electrical appliance they can proudly use on their own desk.

The All-In-One Project Package This course is designed to be hassle-free for parents. When the course launches, it will include a physical package delivered to your door containing everything required to complete the build:
