This hands-on workshop is designed for beginners who want to build confidence using woodworking power tools in a fun, relaxed, and no-pressure environment. No prior experience?
No problem! You’ll get comfortable with essential tools while working on a practical project, a simple pine wooden box.
Though the project may be simple, it’s packed with valuable lessons! You’ll learn to measure, cut, drill, sand, and assemble while mastering various joinery techniques, including screws, biscuits, and pocket holes.
Safety is a top priority, and we’ll guide you through best practices for handling each power tool with confidence.
This is a practical, hands-on experience where you’ll learn by doing, without any pressure, just a fun day of woodworking!
By the end of the course, you’ll have a finished wooden box and a solid foundation for more advanced woodworking projects. This course is also a prerequisite for our 3-day courses, ensuring you have the essential skills to take on more complex builds.

Build your own solid wood side table in this three-day workshop, designed for aspiring woodworkers and DIY enthusiasts eager to expand their skills with modern woodworking techniques.
This hands-on course focuses on easy DIY joinery techniques, assembly, and finishing, giving you the confidence to tackle future woodworking projects on your own.
Don’t be intimidated by the professional look of the side table you will be building, this isn’t rocket science! You’ll be guided step by step, ensuring you enjoy the process and build with confidence.
If you’re worried about completing the project, let that go! You will leave here with a solid wood side table and a smile!
Using solid pine, you’ll apply easy, effective joinery techniques, including biscuit joints and pocket hole joinery. The focus is on practical woodworking rather than traditional hand-tool methods.

Cupboard Build & Install 101
R7 200 (4 Students Max)
Duration: 3 Days (9AM - 3/4PM)

This hands-on course is perfect for beginners and DIY enthusiasts looking to learn how to build and install cupboards. Using 16mm melamine board and an HPL (Formica) worktop, you’ll gain practical experience in assembling cupboards with screws.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll build a cupboard-style side table, learning key skills such as:
✔️ Understanding the components of a cupboard and their functions
✔️ Making shelves adjustable with shelf pins
✔️ Assembling cupboard carcasses and ensuring they are level and secure
✔️ Fitting ball-bearing drawer runners for smooth operation
✔️ Installing and adjusting cupboard door hinges for a perfect fit
✔️ Attaching handles on doors and drawer fronts
✔️ Cutting and edging HPL (Formica) worktops for a professional finish
✔️ Fitting kickplates and completing cupboard installations
